New Doesn’t Always Mean Perfect

Even though your new-build home will usually come with a 10-year warranty from providers such as the NHBC, LABC, or Premier Guarantee, this doesn’t mean all issues are immediately resolved. Your developer is typically responsible for defects during the first two years, with the remaining eight years covered by your warranty provider.
